Dual Doors is a site-responsive installation composed of two light-based sculptures positioned at opposing ends of a space. At first encounter, each appears to emit an opposing colour, casting the intervening field in a wash of contrast. Yet, as the viewer moves through the first threshold, perception shifts: the two works reveal themselves to be identical.

This perceptual inversion forms the core of the work. What initially registers as difference is reconfigured as sameness, destabilising assumptions about opposition, separation, and truth.

Through the use of light as both material and medium, the artists construct an environment that implicates the viewer directly. The body becomes the site through which perception is tested and reoriented, positioning the viewer not as a passive observer, but as a conscious subject within the work.
